Denton area women are invited to a Go Red for Women luncheon and fashion show sponsored
by the Denton chapter of the American Heart Association. The luncheon is the chapter’s Go
Red for Women luncheon, featuring a lunch, fashion show, table favors and a silent auction.

Attendees are encouraged to wear red to the luncheon to help bring attention to heart
health for women.

Silent Auction and socializing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. The
event will be emceed by Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman.

The fashion show will feature clothing designed with the color red, created by fashion
students at the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University. Luncheon guests
will vote for their favorite fashions, and those votes will be counted to give cash awards
 to the winning fashion students.

Cause sponsor is Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton and the media sponsor is
Denton Record-Chronicle. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit American Heart
Association’s research and education in heart health.
