Former punk rock musician Henry Rollins has traveled to Bhutan, Iran, North Korea and
more far-flung places in the last few decades in his quest to understand more about the
world.
His global trek will be the focus of his talk at the University of North Texas this
spring as part of his worldwide talking tour, "The Long March."
In addition to his work as the Black Flag frontman in the 1980s, Rollins has been a TV
and movie actor, music producer, radio DJ and author, and has toured overseas with the
USO to entertain American troops. Rollins' latest book, "Occupants," features photos from
his travels around the world and has been acclaimed by Blogcritics.org for its "indelible
