The Denton Public Library has announced its second annual Library Larry Live summer performance series. There will be a live show at each library branch where children in K-3rd grade can come meet the puppets from Denton’s award-winning television show Li
brary Larry’s Big Day. This year Kristina Brevard from the Denton County Transportation Authority will host the series. She will read a book about trains and talk with Library Larry, Mr. Chompers, and Emmy Lou Dickenson about railroad history, Denton’s A-train, and rail safety. Children will have the opportunity to participate in railroad-themed crafts after the show.

The Watercolor Concentration at UNT became an independent area of study in 2007. Since its inception, nine painters have gone... on to work on or receive their MFA Degrees. Four graduates are now teaching on a university level. In 2010, 15 pai
nters took part in the "Niigata International Watercolor Exhibition" in Japan. Students in the program are encouraged to find their own direction, whether that be as a traditional painter or someone who takes the medium of watercolor into new and exciting territory. This exhibition is dedicated to graduate watercolor painter, Lisa Tseng (1983 –2012).

ugh Friday. Sign up for either week-long day camp or residential. All you do for 5 days is RIDE, RIDE and RIDE!
We will visit different parks, up and down hills, crossing creeks, camp-out under the stars, and learn all we need to know about trail riding and horsemanship. Choose one of our horses to be yours throughout that week or bring yours.
