Free Yoga Classes for Breast Cancer Survivors/Patients

A variety of yoga styles are offered, depending on the students' needs: restorative Yoga, Yoga for Strength and Stability (Asana Fundamentals), Chair Yoga, Gentle Flow, and Meditation.  Taught by E-RYRT Yoga Teachers Susan Reeves and Pamela Ryan. Where: Denton Regional Medical Center (Education Bldg.), 3535 South Interstate 35. Tuesdays at 5:30pm., ongoing.  Class schedule will be expanding soon.  Classes are free to those with beast cancer/survivors of breast cancer.  $10 donation to Foundation 56 for friends and caregivers.  This is a new program, funded by Dallas Cowboy Bradie James' Foundation 56.  Its purpose is to address the neeeds of women in any stage of cancer diagnoisis/recovery through the healing practice of yoga in a supportive and nurturing environment.  Conatact:  Judy Jeanes, (940) 384-3990,  judy.jeanes@hcahealthcare.com to reserve a spot.

Summer Theatre Camps (ages 4-18)

A creativity camp for ages 4-6.  The first camp (Texas Tall Tales)  is June 4-8 from 9am to 12 noon.  The second camp (The Wonderful World of Dr. Seuss)  is August 6-10 from 9am to 12 noon. All camps are held at The PointBank Black Box Theatre located at 318 E.
