Arts and Jazz Festival

The annual three-day event is a celebration of the arts.  Over 2000 professional and amateur performers on six stages showcase the best in jazz, pop, rhythm and blues and full orchestra music.  In addition, community and school groups represent a wide variety of dance, choral, storytelling and theatre performances.  Fine artists and craftsmen, who are juried, come from all over the region to demonstrate exhibit and sell their creations.  Abundant options of food and beverages are available in addition to the entertainment.  Clowns and other activies compliment the festivals, including the large Children's Art Tent that offers numberous art experiences under the leadership of qualified instructors.

Annual High School Art Show

Discover Emeritus College/Where Learning is for Life

Discover Emeritus College Where learning is for life  Seniors 50+:  Join others your age for an exciting learning adventure. Short classes, travel programs and social activities. Find new interests. Make new friends. Enhance your life experiences. Short one- and two-day classes, most less than two hours each, held on UNT and TWU campuses. Taught by a distinguished faculty of activeprofessors and emeritus professors, authors, theologians, doctors, and industry professionals, all experts in their fields. Take as many classes as you wish for a low membership fee.
